California High School Basketball - Placer can't hold off Ponderosa
January 10, 2023: Auburn, CA 95603 The Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Placer Hillmen to 68 in the Bruins league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bruins now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakmont for a contest on Thursday, January 12. Ponderosa will battle a Vikings team coming off a 58-27 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-10.
The Hillmen (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras enter the contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Lincoln nudged Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 48-43, in a league contest.
