New Jersey High School Basketball - Rutherford fells Hasbrouck Heights
January 21, 2024: Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604 Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hasbrouck Heights Aviators (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ), 49-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Rutherford upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Harrison (Harrison, NJ) to play the Blue Tide in a Northwest Jersey - National bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Blue Tide go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Harrison lost 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ)
Next up, the Aviators play the Wallington Panthers (Wallington, NJ) in a North Jersey - Division 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Hasbrouck Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 73-35 non-league loss to Waldwick (Waldwick, NJ).
