Illinois High School Basketball - Wheaton Academy victorious over Bishop McNamara
January 21, 2025: West Chicago, IL 60185 In Tuesday's league contest, the host Wheaton Academy Warriors basketball team scored a good 68-51 triumph over the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish.
The Warriors (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Eagles go into the Chicagoland Christian contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Aurora Christian was toppled by Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL), 39-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Fightin' Irish confront the Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) in a Chicagoland Christian contest, on Friday, January 24. Bishop McNamara will attempt to better on its 17-3 season record. The Gladiators go into the contest with a 13-7 record after their 71-52 non-league win over Sterling (Sterling, IL).
