Louisiana High School Basketball - Central Hinds Academy routs Riverfield Academy
January 21, 2025: Rayville, LA 71269 In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Central Hinds Academy Cougars basketball team scored a big 76-43 win over the Riverfield Academy Raiders.
The Cougars (18-10) will now prepare for their contest against Piney Woods (Piney Woods, MS). The Tornadoes come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Piney Woods smashed Stringer (Stringer, MS), 70-21, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Claiborne Academy Rebels (Haynesville, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 23. Riverfield Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 11-8 record after their 54-49 league win over Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA).
