Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) fans went home pleased Tuesday as they observed their basketball team knock off the host Chester Flyers (Chester, SD), 65-49 in a non-league challenge.

The Cossacks (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Deubrook (White, SD). The Dolphins come into the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Deubrook prevailed over Tri-Valley (Colton, SD), 53-35, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Flyers encounter the St. Francis Indian Warriors (St. Francis, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Chester will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
