January 21, 2025: Colman, SD 57017 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks (Colman, SD) and the visiting McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD), observed Colman-Egan's basketball team overcome McCook Central/Montrose by a score of 66-53.
The C-E Hawks (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Elks come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Elkton/Lake Benton defeated Canton (Canton, SD), 67-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Fighting Cougars battle the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. McCook Central/Montrose will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Fliers come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 63-39 non-league win over Deuel (Clear Lake, SD).
