Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA), 69-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Farrell advances its record to 4-7 on the year. The Steelers travel to Sharon (Sharon, PA) to face the Tigers in a District 10 Region 4 match on Friday, January 24. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-5. Sharon won 73-54 in their recent league match against Hickory (Hermitage, PA)

The Mustangs now own a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grove City for a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. Mercer will face a Eagles squad coming off a 58-47 league win over Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-2.
