Arkansas High School Basketball - Vilonia thwarts Jacksonville
January 21, 2025: Vilonia, AR 72173 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Vilonia Eagles (Vilonia, AR) and the visiting Jacksonville Titans (Jacksonville, AR), observed Vilonia's basketball team knock off Jacksonville by a score of 55-43.
The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Maumelle (Maumelle, AR). The Hornets come into the 5A Central challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Maumelle was knocked off by Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR), 80-63, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Titans encounter the Sylvan Hills Bears (Sherwood, AR) in a 5A Central challenge, on Friday, January 24. Jacksonville will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 72-70 league win over Greenbrier (Greenbrier, AR).
