Virginia High School Basketball - Lunenburg Central sneaks past Randolph-Henry
January 21, 2025: Victoria, VA 23974 The Lunenburg Central Chargers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen to 53 in the Chargers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nottoway for a James River game on Friday, January 24. Lunenburg Central will play a Cougars team coming off a 68-60 non-league win over King William (King William, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Randolph-Henry falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Statesmen travel to Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA) to play the Eagles in a James River game on Friday, January 24. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 7-4. Prince Edward County won 72-46 in their recent league game against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA)
