The Redwood Rangers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers to 42 in the Rangers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rangers now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Porterville for a East Yosemite game on Thursday, January 23. Redwood will confront a Panthers team coming off a 71-66 league loss to Monache (Porterville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Mt. Whitney falls to 2-20 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Golden West (Visalia, CA) to confront the Trailblazers in a East Yosemite game on Thursday, January 23.
