January 21, 2025: Longview, WA 98632 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wahkiakum Mules (Cathlamet, WA) and the host Three Rivers Christian Eagles (Longview, WA), observed Wahkiakum's basketball team overwhelm Three Rivers Christian by a score of 72-27.
The Mules (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakville (Oakville, WA). The Acorns come into the 1B Columbia Valley challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Oakville was routed by Taholah (Taholah, WA), 61-47, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Firm Foundation Christian Eagles (Battle Ground, WA) in a 1B Columbia Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Three Rivers Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 55-9 league loss to Washington School for the Deaf (Vancouver, WA).
