Mississippi High School Basketball - Bruce thwarts Water Valley

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS) and the visiting Water Valley Blue Devils (Water Valley, MS), observed Bruce's basketball team knock off Water Valley by a score of 68-56.

The Trojans (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 15-3 record.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Water Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 22-2 record after their 56-36 non-league win over Belmont (Belmont, MS).
