In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Steele Knights basketball team scored a big 52-23 triumph over the Clemens Buffaloes.

The Knights (21-6) will now prepare for their contest against East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Hornets go into the 6A Region IV District 29 contest with a 17-14 record. In their last contest, East Central was trounced by Judson (Converse, TX), 60-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Buffaloes confront the San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 contest, on Friday, January 24. Clemens will attempt to better on its 4-22 season record. The Rattlers go into the contest with a 21-6 record after their 69-39 league win over Johnson (Buda, TX).
