With the victory, Moorhead advances its record to 9-9 on the year. The Spuds travel to Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN) to meet the Otters in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 23. The Otters enter the battle with a record of 11-4.
The Roughriders now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Forks Central for a AA East battle on Friday, January 24. Red River will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 66-56 league loss to Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND). The Knights record now stands at 3-11.
