South Dakota High School Basketball - Timber Lake sneaks past Sully Buttes
January 21, 2025: Onida, SD 57564 The Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD) basketball edged the host Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD), 39-38 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lemmon for a B Region 8 bout on Friday, January 24. Timber Lake will play a Cowboys team coming off a 51-42 non-league loss to Flasher (Flasher, ND). The Cowboys record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Sully Buttes falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD) to play the Buffalos in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23. The Buffalos go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Stanley County lost 49-37 in their recent non-league bout against Jones County (Murdo, SD)
