With the victory, Viola upgrades its record to 11-11 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Shirley (Shirley, AR) to face the Blue Devils in a 1A Region 2 match on Thursday, January 23. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 1-22. Shirley lost 54-17 in their recent league match against Norfork (Norfork, AR)
The Tigers now sport a 5-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rural Special for a 1A Region 2 match on Monday, January 27. Timbo will face a Rebels squad coming off a 59-29 league win over Concord (Concord, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 22-4.
