Arkansas High School Basketball - Elkins fells Bergman
January 22, 2022: Elkins, AR 72727 Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bergman Panthers (Bergman, AR), 84-70 in a league bout.
With the win, Elkins upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Elks host Haas Hall Academy (Fayetteville, AR) to clash with the Mastiff in a non-league bout on Friday, January 28. The Mastiff go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Haas Hall Academy won 56-53 in their recent non-league bout against Alpena (Alpena, AR)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Greenland Pirates (Greenland, AR) in a 3A Region 1 bout, on Wednesday, January 26. Bergman will attempt to upgrade on its 24-6 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 47-28 league loss to Green Forest (Green Forest, AR).
