Wisconsin High School Basketball - Laconia holds off Waupun
January 22, 2022: Rosendale, WI 54974 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Laconia Spartans (Rosendale, WI) and the visiting Waupun Warriors (Waupun, WI), saw Laconia's basketball squad hold off Waupun by a tally of 61-60.
With the victory, Laconia improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to St. Mary's Springs (Fond du Lac, WI) to confront the Ledgers in a Flyway challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Ledgers come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. St. Mary's Springs won 59-43 in their recent league challenge against Omro (Omro, WI)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Ripon Tigers (Ripon, WI) in a East Central challenge, on Friday, January 28. Waupun will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 78-63 non-league loss to Mayville (Mayville, WI).
