Campbellsport Cougars (Campbellsport, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Laconia Spartans (Rosendale, WI), 62-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Campbellsport upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Kewaskum (Kewaskum, WI) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Kewaskum won 54-48 in their recent league bout against Winneconne (Winneconne, WI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Mayville Cardinals (Mayville, WI) in a Flyway bout, on Thursday, January 20. Laconia will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
