Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Council Rock South edges New Hope-Solebury
January 22, 2022: New Hope, PA 18938 The Council Rock South Golden Hawks (Holland, PA) basketball nipped the host New Hope-Solebury Lions (New Hope, PA), 74-70 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Golden Hawks (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Central Bucks South was tipped by Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA), 51-39, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Upper Dublin for a Suburban One - American test on Tuesday, January 25. New Hope-Solebury will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 48-16 league win over Wissahickon (Ambler, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-6.
