Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Council Rock South thwarts Wissahickon
February 3, 2022: Holland, PA 18966 The Council Rock South Golden Hawks (Holland, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA), 66-53 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Golden Hawks (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA). The Falcons go into the Suburban One - National test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, Pennsbury notched a victory over Harry S. Truman (Levittown, PA), 52-15, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Quakertown for a Suburban One - American test on Friday, February 4. Wissahickon will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 55-52 league loss to New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-11.
