January 22, 2022: Woodstock, IL 60098 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) and the visiting Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), saw Woodstock North's basketball squad hold off Grayslake North by a tally of 40-34.
With the victory, Woodstock North improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Thunder host Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL) to play the Skyhawks in a Kishwaukee River challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Johnsburg won 52-21 in their recent league challenge against Harvard (Harvard, IL)
Next up, the Knights play the Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Wednesday, January 26. Grayslake North will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 21-3 record after their 53-8 league win over North Chicago (North Chicago, IL).
