Washington High School Basketball - Wapato overwhelms Wahluke
January 22, 2022: Mattawa, WA 99349 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA) and the host Wahluke Warriors (Mattawa, WA), saw Wapato's basketball squad wallop Wahluke by a tally of 71-24.
With the victory, Wapato improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to La Salle (Union Gap, WA) to play the Lightning in a 1A South Central - West challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Lightning come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. La Salle lost 59-45 in their recent non-league challenge against College Place (College Place, WA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Naches Valley Rangers (Naches, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Wahluke will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record.
