Washington High School Basketball - Wapato overwhelms College Place
January 8, 2022: Wapato, WA 98951 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA) and the visiting College Place Hawks (College Place, WA), saw Wapato's basketball squad wallop College Place by a tally of 72-35.
With the victory, Wapato improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Wolves host Zillah (Zillah, WA) to confront the Leopards in a 1A South Central - West challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Zillah won 48-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Tenino (Tenino, WA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Kiona-Benton Bears (Benton City, WA) in a 1A South Central - East challenge, on Friday, January 14. College Place will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
