Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Franklin fells Brookville
January 22, 2024: Brookville, PA 15825 Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Brookville Raiders (Brookville, PA), 58-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Corry (Corry, PA) to clash with the Beavers in a District 10 Region 5 bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Corry lost 53-37 in their recent non-league bout against Oil City (Oil City, PA)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the St. Marys Flying Dutch (St. Marys, PA) in a Allegheny Mountain - Southern bout, on Friday, January 26. Brookville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Flying Dutch go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 37-35 league loss to Ridgway (Ridgway, PA).
