California High School Basketball - El Primero thwarts Mid-Peninsula

The El Primero Lobos (San Jose, CA) basketball knocked off the host Mid-Peninsula Dragons (Menlo Park, CA), 59-44 in Monday's league test.

The Lobos (4-13) will now prepare for their test against North Valley Baptist (Santa Clara, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Private School - Central test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, North Valley Baptist notched a victory over East Palo Alto Academy (East Palo Alto, CA), 69-38, in a league test.

The Dragons now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to East Palo Alto Academy for a Private School - Central test on Friday, January 26. Mid-Peninsula will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-47 league loss to KIPP San Jose Collegiate (San Jose, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-8.
