Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA), 58-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ferndale upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 13-2. Mount Vernon won 78-53 in their recent league bout against Blaine (Blaine, WA)
