January 30, 2024: Lynden, WA 98264 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) and the visiting Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA), saw Lynden's basketball squad overcome Ferndale by a tally of 61-50.
With the victory, Lynden improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Mount Vernon won 72-61 in their recent league challenge against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Borderites come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 74-59 league loss to Sehome (Bellingham, WA).
