Washington High School Basketball - Lynden fells Burlington-Edison
January 29, 2024: Burlington, WA 98233 Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA), 69-49 in a league bout.
With the win, Lynden upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Lions host Ferndale (Ferndale, WA) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Ferndale lost 78-50 in their recent league bout against Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Burlington-Edison will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Bayhawks go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 63-49 league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA).
