California High School Basketball - Pacheco nips Johansen
January 22, 2024: Los Banos, CA 93635 Pacheco Panthers (Los Banos, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Johansen Vikings (Modesto, CA), 54-51 in a league test.
The Panthers (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Lathrop (Lathrop, CA). The Spartans go into the Western Athletic Conference test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Lathrop got by Ceres (Ceres, CA), 67-59, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they host Mountain House for a Western Athletic Conference test on Wednesday, January 24. Johansen will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 66-44 league win over Grace Davis (Modesto, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-6.
