Idaho High School Basketball - North Gem overwhelms Leadore

January 22, 2024: Bancroft, ID 83217

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the North Gem Cowboys (Bancroft, ID) and the visiting Leadore Mustangs (Leadore, ID), saw North Gem's basketball squad wallop Leadore by a tally of 72-47.

With the victory, North Gem improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Taylor's Crossing (Idaho Falls, ID) to play the Eagles in a 1A II Rocky Mountain challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Clark County Bobcats (Dubois, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Leadore will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to North Gem (Bancroft, ID).
