January 22, 2024: New Plymouth, ID 83655 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) and the visiting Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID), saw New Plymouth's basketball squad hold off Nampa Christian by a tally of 77-71.
With the victory, New Plymouth improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Pilgrims host Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID) to confront the Chargers in a 2A Western Idaho challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 13-1. Cole Valley Christian won 53-31 in their recent league challenge against Marsing (Marsing, ID)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Compass Charter Aviators (Meridian, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Nampa Christian will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Aviators come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 71-41 league loss to The Ambrose School (Meridian, ID).
