New Hampshire High School Basketball - Pittsfield overwhelmed by Newmarket
January 22, 2024: Pittsfield, NH 03263 The Newmarket Mules basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Pittsfield Panthers to 38 in the Mules league victory on Monday.
The Mules now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Epping for a Division IV contest on Tuesday, January 23. Newmarket will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Mascenic Regional (New Ipswich, NH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-7.
The Panthers (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Royal Academy (Sunapee, NH). The Knights come into the Division IV battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Mount Royal Academy was overwhelmed by Moultonborough Academy (Moultonborough, NH), 78-26, in a league battle.
