Connecticut High School Basketball - Warde overwhelms Harding
January 22, 2024: Fairfield, CT 06430 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) and the visiting Harding Presidents (Bridgeport, CT), saw Warde's basketball squad wallop Harding by a count of 54-20.
With the victory, Warde upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Westhill (Stamford, CT) to play the Vikings in a Fairfield County challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Westhill won 57-38 in their recent league challenge against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT)
Next up, the Presidents play the Career Magnet Panthers (New Haven, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Harding will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 30-29 non-league loss to Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT).
