New Hampshire High School Basketball - Hinsdale holds off Newport
January 22, 2024: Newport, NH 03773 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hinsdale Pacers (Hinsdale, NH) and the host Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), saw Hinsdale's basketball squad hold off Newport by a tally of 36-31.
With the victory, Hinsdale improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Pacers host Epping (Epping, NH) to confront the Blue Devils in a Division IV challenge on Friday, January 26. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Epping lost 32-15 in their recent league challenge against Newmarket (Newmarket, NH)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Friday, January 26. Newport will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 49-32 non-league loss to Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT).
