January 22, 2024: Anniston, AL 36207 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Jacksonville Golden Eagles (Jacksonville, AL) and the host White Plains Wildcats (Anniston, AL), saw Jacksonville's basketball squad wallop White Plains by a tally of 59-29.
With the victory, Jacksonville improves its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Ashville (Ashville, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 15-9.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) in a 4A Area 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. White Plains will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 39-34 non-league loss to Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL).
