January 22, 2024: Mapleton, MN 56065 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) and the visiting LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes (LaMoure, ND), saw Maple River's basketball squad knock off LaMoure/Litchville-Marion by a tally of 52-37.
With the victory, Maple River improves its record to 23-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] (Rogers, ND) to play the Bison in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] lost 66-52 in their recent league challenge against Sargent County (Milnor, ND)
Next up, the Loboes play the South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND) in a B District 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. LaMoure/Litchville-Marion will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 65-26 league loss to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock (Linton, ND).
