North Carolina High School Basketball - St. Thomas More Academy holds off Neuse Christian Academy
January 22, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27615 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC) and the host Neuse Christian Academy Lions (Raleigh, NC), saw St. Thomas More Academy's basketball squad hold off Neuse Christian Academy by a tally of 32-29.
With the victory, St. Thomas More Academy improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Chancellors travel to Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC) to confront the Lion in a NCISAA Raleigh Area challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Lion come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill won 37-35 in their recent league challenge against Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)
Next up, the Lions confront the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights (Rolesville, NC) in a NCISAA Raleigh Area challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Neuse Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 37-35 league loss to Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC).
