North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD), 46-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Point upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles host Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Douglass lost 61-26 in their recent league bout against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD)
