Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA), 53-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Rams play the Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Millikan will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record.
