Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Big Spring thwarts Steelton-Highspire
January 22, 2025: Newville, PA 17241 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA) and the visiting Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers (Steelton, PA), observed Big Spring's basketball team knock off Steelton-Highspire by a score of 65-45.
The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA). The Lions come into the Mid-Penn - Capital challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Camp Hill was knocked off by Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA), 59-35, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Steamrollers encounter the Susquehanna Township HANNA (Harrisburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Capital challenge, on Friday, January 24. Steelton-Highspire will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The HANNA come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 82-37 league win over James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA).
