In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Quince Orchard Cougars basketball team scored a big 73-51 triumph over the Clarksburg Coyotes.

The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Vikings go into the Montgomery County - Central contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Whitman smashed Churchill (Potomac, MD), 71-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Coyotes confront the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Clarksburg will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record.
