Galway Golden Eagles (Galway, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wolves (St. Johnsville, NY), 53-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Galway advances its record to 1-13 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY) to face the Golden Knights in a Section 2 Western - Hudson match on Wednesday, January 29. The Golden Knights enter the match with a record of 2-12.
