January 22, 2025: Chickamauga, GA 30707 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) and the host Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA), observed Gordon Central's basketball team knock off Gordon Lee by a score of 66-46.
The Warriors (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Excel Christian Academy (Cartersville, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Excel Christian Academy prevailed over Fideles Christian (Cumming, GA), 69-54, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Gordon Lee will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Pumas come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 77-63 non-league win over Whitwell (Whitwell, TN).
