Vermont High School Basketball - Lyndon Institute thwarts Hazen
January 22, 2025: Hardwick, VT 05843 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) and the host Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT), observed Lyndon Institute's basketball team knock off Hazen by a score of 60-49.
The Vikings (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Harwood (Moretown, VT). The Highlanders go into the Capital bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Harwood fell by Montpelier (Montpelier, VT), 70-39, in a league bout.
With the loss, Hazen falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Spaulding (Barre, VT) to play the Crimson Tide in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Crimson Tide go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Spaulding won 65-59 in their recent non-league bout against Milton (Milton, VT)
