Vermont High School Basketball - Lyndon Institute overwhelmed by Montpelier
February 12, 2025: Lyndon Center, VT 05850 In Wednesday's league test, the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) basketball team crushed the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), by a tally of 71-49.
The Solons now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they host Randolph for a Capital bout on Friday, February 14. Montpelier will play a Ghosts team coming off a 63-47 non-league win over Peoples Academy (Morrisville, VT). The Ghosts record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Lyndon Institute falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Vikings host Spaulding (Barre, VT) to encounter the Crimson Tide in a non-league test on Friday, February 14. The Crimson Tide come into the test with a record of 6-10. Spaulding lost 53-21 in their recent non-league test against Harwood (Moretown, VT)
