Texas High School Basketball - Carrizo Springs holds off Somerset

January 22, 2025: Somerset, TX 78069

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Carrizo Springs Wildcats basketball team scored a close 49-47 triumph over the Somerset Bulldogs.

The Wildcats (17-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pearsall (Pearsall, TX). The Mavericks go into the 4A Region IV District 27 contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Pearsall was tipped by Uvalde (Uvalde, TX), 41-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 27 contest, on Friday, January 24. Somerset will attempt to better on its 7-22 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 11-15 record after their 61-36 league loss to Devine (Devine, TX).
