Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Central Mountain thwarts Danville

January 22, 2025: Danville, PA 17821

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA) and the host Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA), observed Central Mountain's basketball team knock off Danville by a score of 53-42.

The Wildcats (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA). The Bulldogs come into the Heartland I challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Jersey Shore prevailed over Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA), 43-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Ironmen encounter the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) in a Heartland I challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Danville will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 70-22 league win over Midd-West (Middleburg, PA).
