Illinois High School Basketball - Clinton fells Maroa-Forsyth
January 22, 2025: Clinton, IL 61727 The Clinton Maroons basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans to 43 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Maroons now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Warrensburg-Latham for a Central Illinois game on Thursday, January 23. Clinton will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 49-39 non-league loss to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-12.
With the loss, Maroa-Forsyth falls to 18-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Williamsville (Williamsville, IL) to confront the Bullets in a Sangamo game on Monday, January 27.
