January 22, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87108 The Highland Hornets basketball squad scored 58 points and held the visiting Del Norte Knights to 57 in the Hornets non-league victory on Wednesday.
With the victory, Highland advances its record to 10-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 5-4. Belen lost 71-51 in their recent non-league match against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
The Knights now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bernalillo for a non-league match on Friday, January 24. Del Norte will face a Spartans squad coming off a 77-46 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 2-11.
